Content Specialist Intern (Unpaid)

ODK Media, Inc. is a media group headquartered in Fullerton, CA that provides access to premium international content through its owned and operated streaming platforms, including OnDemandKorea, OnDemandChina, OnDemandViet, and Amasian TV. It also distributes content to global streaming services, cable operators, and movie theaters, serving as the Asian media hub for AAPI communities across the country.

We are currently seeking a Content Specialist Unpaid Intern to join the Corporate Strategy team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Asian Content, K-Drama, C-Drama, Movies, Anime, and so on. As our intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting content delivery, localization, analysis, and day-to-day marketing operations alongside the market research activities.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support content metadata and usage data structure improvement .
• Monitor other players’ activity and community in the Asian Entertainment space, and create weekly reports.
• Support the quality check of the localization (Subtitle and Dubbing).
• Coordinate with design, content ops, and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of assets. 
• Assist with ad hoc tasks and cross-departmental initiatives as needed. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's program in content, filming, marketing, business, or related field. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience may suffice.
• Strong interest in Asian entertainment (K-dramas, films, anime, K-pop, etc.) and active familiarity with current trends and popular titles.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks across teams.
• Analytical mindset with interest in understanding content performance, user behavior, and market trends.
• Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) or other productivity tools.
• Passionate about media, content strategy, and understanding how Asian content reaches global audiences.
• Strong communication and writing skills in English; Korean or other Asian language proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
• Must be able to work on-site in our Fullerton office Monday through Thursday.
