If you\u2019re willing to contribute and create value for tomorrow\u2019s cleaner and smarter mobility, FORVIA is the place to be.\n\nFORVIA is looking for a year-round Continuous Improvement (FES) Intern for its Location in Columbus, Indiana.\n\n## Your mission, roles and responsibilities\n\nThe Continuous Improvement Intern will have duties that will support manufacturing sites in the FES (Faurecia Excellence System) deployment and activities. \n\nThe main missions of the role are:\n\n * Establish standards for the Division based on Division Best Practices\n * Develop model line and game concepts\n * Maintain the FES Shareplace and training calendar\n * Coaching and training production employees\n * Update/create standardized work instructions\n * Participating in plant workshops (Hoshin, SMED, OEE)\n * Improving direct labour efficiency by productivity\n * Production lines alignment with Production system standard assessment\n\n\n\n## Your profile and competencies to succeed\n\nThe ideal candidate will have/be:\n\nMinimum education level: Pursing an Engineering Degree preferably in Industrial or Mechanical\n\nSkills and competencies:\n\n * Ability to travel while working internship\n * Strong computer skills, high level organization skills, and good communication skills\n * Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Windows-based software\n * Helpful to have knowledge of Access, visual basic or equivalent\n * Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia\u2019s Code of Ethics and Code of Management\n * Minimum 2.8 GPA\n * Can work year-round\n\n\n\n## What we can do for you\n\n * At Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies. \n * We are the seventh-largest global automotive supplier, employing more than 157,000 people in more than 40 countries which makes a lot of opportunity for career development. \n * We welcome energetic and agile people who can thrive in a fast-changing environment.
