What awaits you:

  • 20 – 40 hours per week, depending on class schedule and availability.
  • Assist Quality Engineers with investigations of quality concerns, customer complaints, and internal nonconformances.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities, including collecting and analyzing quality data from manufacturing processes. 
  • Utilize Excel, Minitab, or similar tools to organize and analyze data.
  • Assist with capability studies, gage studies, and statistical analysis projects.
  • Support scrap and customer quality reporting activities.
  • Help verify effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Support review and follow-up of customer concerns and rejected material reports.
  • Participate in customer and internal quality meetings as assigned.
  • Assist with communication of quality concerns and status updates.

     

     

 


What you'll need to succeed:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with statistics and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with structured problem solving methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Exposure to automotive quality systems, SPC, or quality tools is a plus.
