Data Analytics Intern

• Provide Data Engineering support across various platforms, including Databricks, Advana, and Palantir Foundry, encompassing data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline optimization.
• Develop and maintain scalable data workflows to enable advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
• Support Data Science projects by applying statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI techniques to solve complex problems and extract actionable insights.
• Learn and leverage tools within the Advana/Jupyter Data and AI ecosystem, contributing to innovation aligned with the NAWCAD Wolf Tech Roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering and data science solutions into mission-critical applications.
• Document processes and best practices for reproducibility and knowledge sharing across teams.

• Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills
• Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to multitask and meet competing, deliverable deadlines
• Detail oriented
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
• Ability to adapt to evolving technology

• Currently a junior or senior pursuing either a Bachelor’s, master’s, or higher-level degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a similarly related field.
• At least one year of experience working on the platforms listed. Experience working with statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI techniques is required.
