Our Chicago and Minneapolis office locations are seeking a Deal Services Intern.   

The anticipated start date for this role is: June 2027. 

The anticipated end date for this role is: August 2027.

Primary Responsibilities 

• Participates in quality of earnings due diligence engagements related to acquisitions by private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers. 

• Analyzes financial/operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management. 

• Prepares/evaluates pro forma financial information. 

• Evaluates effects of seasonality and cyclicality on cash flow requirements. 

• Performs industry and company research. Correlates due diligence findings with client valuations. 

Minimum Requirements 

• Working towards the achievement of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field – Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.   

• Achieving credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CFA, CPA exam per state requirements. 

• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data. 

• Willingness to learn new technologies. 

• Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products. 

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

The compensation range for this position in Illinois is: $27.00 – $35.00                

The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is: $27.00 –$31.00
