 What you'll achieve

The Internship Program is a summer opportunity for rising Senior college and university students to gain exposure to the Dell Technologies Presales Academy and to the Presales Solutions Architect role. Many of our internship candidates experience this program, go back to school to finish their degrees, and then return to the full-time Dell Technologies Presales Academy program upon graduation.

 You will:

• Undergo Training: Participate in a structured training program covering Dell Technologies’ data center infrastructure, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, and data solutions
• Build AI and Data Science Fluency: Develop practical knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, analytics, and generative AI, and connect these technologies to real-world challenges  
• Apply Technical Skills: Translate technical concepts, architectures, and data-driven insights into relevant solutions and recommendations  
• Customer Connection: Understand customer needs to craft tailored technology solutions that address real-world challenges  
• Present with Confidence: Deliver engaging product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution discussions that showcase Dell Technologies’ portfolio  
• Dates: Internship starts June 1, 2027, and concludes on July 30, 2027

Essential Requirements:

• Pursuing an Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or another engineering discipline or related technical field - graduating with a Bachelors in December 2027 or May 2028 and the ability to join the internship program on June 1, 2027 
• Foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence and data science demonstrated through formal coursework, academic or personal projects, research, or internships; familiarity with machine learning, data analysis, statistics, or generative AI concepts  
• Demonstrated technical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability, coupled with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to varied audiences
• Interest in consultative technical solution design, customer engagement, and presenting technology-based recommendations  
• Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous-learning mindset focused on how infrastructure, cloud, networking, AI, and data technologies help customers achieve their goals 

Desirable Requirements:

• Internship experience in technology-related field or at a technology company
• Involvement in activities / roles outside of class (clubs, sports, etc.)

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this position is $27.70-30.75 per hour depending on location.
