ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Maintain Resource Library
• Furniture & Finish Selection
• Specifications
• Technical & Conceptual Drawings
• Customer Experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Create and/or edit Scout boards, PowerPoints and spreadsheets with product info and images.
• Assist with field measures and site verifications.
• Learn about furniture systems and specifications.
• Research solutions for ancillary requests.
• Research solutions for A+D requests.
• Develop and/or edit budget spreadsheets.
• Edit plans in CAD for various stages of projects.
• Select fabrics/finishes for projects.
• Communicate with manufacturer reps to obtain fabric/finish samples for projects.
• Assist in preparation of drawings with direction provided by designer.
• Shadow designers to learn more about the role of a dealer designer.
• Learn what it takes to work in a professional showroom environment.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Rising Junior or Senior in an Interior Design program.
• Exemplify Continua's Core Values.
• Initiative: Able to bring innovative ideas and designs forward.
• Excellent verbal and written communication. 
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
• Ability to manage and use time wisely.
• Ability to travel to job site locations.
• Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 20 pounds. This position may require travel between offices, jobsites, and/or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, lifting light luggage, and adapting to different time zones.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The hiring compensation range for this position is an hourly rate of $15.00/hour.
