TITLE: Development Staff Intern
REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Corporate and Foundation Relations
LOCATION: Virtual, Occasional In-Person Travel
Duration of internship: June 15 – September 30
(Weeks 1-8: 10 hours/week, Weeks 9-16: 20 hours/week)
Position Summary
The Development Intern supports the Development and Corporate Relations team in advancing fundraising and operational efforts for signature events, including the annual CHCI Leadership Conference and Gala during Hispanic Heritage Month. This role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, and event operations while offering essential administrative and project support to the development team.
Working closely with development staff and cross-functional teams, the intern will gain exposure to donor stewardship, event logistics, data management, and day-to-day development operations that support one of the nation’s leading Latino leadership organizations.
