Role Overview

We are seeking an EHS Intern to join our Environment, Health & Safety team. This internship is designed for a motivated student who is passionate about workplace safety, sustainability, and compliance. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting EHS initiatives while developing valuable skills in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate in conducting Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA):
  Assist in observing and documenting work tasks to identify potential hazards and assess associated risks in various operations within the pharmaceutical facility.
• Collaborate with Operations and EHS Team:
  Collaborate with supervisors, operators, and EHS personnel to gather accurate information about job steps, tools, equipment, and environmental conditions.
• Assist in developing and updating Safety Documentation:
  Assist in the creation and revision of JSA/JHA forms, ensuring they reflect current practices and include appropriate control measures.
• Support Identify and Recommend Risk Controls:
  Propose engineering, administrative, or PPE controls to mitigate identified hazards and improve workplace safety.
• Assist in maintaining accurate Records:
  Assist in ensuring all JSA/JHA documentation is properly filed and accessible for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal use.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Passion for workplace safety and environmental stewardship.
