Internship Program 2027

Start Date: May 31, 2027
Salary Range: $22-$25/hour

100113 – Autonomous Maintenance Intern
Duration: May 31, 2027 – April 28, 2028
(Full-time until August 13, then part-time max. 20 hours/week)
What you will do
In our factory in Sikeston, we produce an array of milk carton sizes. The Press Cell where the intern will primarily work is comprised of 5 printing presses from the 1950's and 60's and one that was installed at the beginning of 2026. The older presses are in need of extreme Autonomous Maintenance growth, while maintaining a standard in the new press. The team in the front office is small and works together very well.

100123 – World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Analyst Intern
Duration: May 31, 2027 – April 28, 2028
(Full-time until August 13, then part-time max. 20 hours/week)
What you will do
Our team is responsible for driving World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce losses, and support continuous improvement across the plant. The work environment is highly collaborative, with close interaction between production, maintenance, quality, engineering, and supply chain teams. Interns will work alongside experienced WCM professionals and gain exposure to both shop floor operations and data-driven decision making.
The team culture emphasizes continuous improvement, problem solving, teamwork, and employee engagement. Key challenges include identifying and eliminating operational losses, improving process stability, supporting performance tracking, and sustaining improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Typical deliverables include data analysis reports, loss and performance dashboards, root cause investigations, continuous improvement project support, process documentation, and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations. You will have opportunities to participate in Kaizen activities, WCM pillar initiatives, and cross-functional improvement projects that deliver measurable business results.

What you will do
Our Tetra Pak plant in Sikeston, Missouri produces coated paperboard cartons ranging from as small as 4 ounces to as large as one liter, used for milk, juices, and a variety of other food products. You will work with maintenance colleagues on the production floor and focus on Preventive Maintenance, delivering and improving management of spare parts, inventory and machines.
