The summer intern will support the department by assisting with tasks such as: Partnering with team members to develop solutions for process, product, or operational challenges. Supporting the planning, justification, and implementation of new concepts, equipment, tools, processes, or systems. Collaborating with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams to apply continuous improvement and efficiency concepts. Researching and evaluating new technologies or process improvements and assessing their potential business impact. Supporting training and development activities—including gathering data, validating results, preparing reports, and presenting findings. Completing additional duties or project assignments as needed Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above (Please do not round). Must be able to work in Arden, NC full-time for the duration of the internship Prior internship experience within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
