Event Coordinator Intern

Summary: 

We are looking for a fun, energetic, and passionate intern to join our team during the Spring semester. This role is a part-time position within the FX Well Events Team. The intern is responsible for supporting the account services team with the delivery of onsite and virtual wellness events at FX Well partners/clients in the Baltimore-Washington area. This is a hybrid role with travel by car. The intern must be able to travel to and from events, as well as to our Hunt Valley, MD location. The Intern will engage event attendees at partner/client wellness events and inspire people to participate in cool and exciting fitness competitions, health education booths, and more. 

Qualifications: 

· Applicants must display a positive attitude with a desire to learn in a fast-paced high energy environment

· Personal passion for health and fitness

· Rising Junior or Senior in a related field

· Demonstrate a working knowledge of computer skills on Microsoft Office

· Ability to work independently and make effective decisions as they relate to event goals, client relationships, and the FX Well brand

· Must have a valid driver's license and reliable, professional, client-ready transportation

· Possess incredible organizational skills

· Demonstrated listening skills and ability to execute projects in a timely manner

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:   

· Work and communicate with coaches, trainers, physical therapists, and other health and fitness specialists

· Assist in fitness testing, computation of results, and in individual assessments

· Coordinate logistics with day-to-day corporate wellness event management, such as event scheduling, staffing, and equipment inventory. 

· Complete assigned documentation tasks and update relevant information for the corporate wellness events

· Assist in development of new and engaging onsite events

· Support the FX Well Account Services Team in the Hunt Valley, MD corporate office

· Display a positive attitude and constant high energy
