Job Description - Events Intern (Fall 2025)

Chief Executive Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Events Intern to support our team during our peak event season. This part-time hybrid internship offers hands-on experience in planning and executing high-level events for C-suite executives, including CEOs and CFOs. 


 


August 1 – December 15, 2025 | 20 to 25 hours per week.  


 
Key Responsibilities: 



  • Assist in the management of attendee communications for both in-person and virtual events, including confirmation emails, logistical updates, and participation reminders. 



  • Support the setup and ongoing management of event apps, including uploading attendee lists, speaker materials, and sponsor content. 



  • Track continuing education (CPE) credits, monitor participation at applicable events, and distribute certificates post-event. 



  • Help coordinate and analyze pre- and post-event survey responses to inform roundtable planning, onsite experiences, and post-event reporting. 



  • Assist in fulfilling sponsor deliverables, including the creation of customized attendee dossiers. 



  • Manage logistics for printing and shipping of materials to event sites, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. 



  • Provide general administrative support to the events team, including organizing collateral and supplies for upcoming programs. 


 


Qualifications: 



  • Undergraduate student (hospitality management, communications, general business administration, marketing, or public relations majors preferred) 



  • Strong interest in event planning or related marketing/communications field   



  • Project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail   



  • Fast learner with an entrepreneurial spirit that works well under pressure   



  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with shifting priorities and timelines  



  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 



  • Passion for providing an exceptional customer experience   



  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment  



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
