Facility Engineering Intern

This position is a seasonal summer position based at our Syracuse, NY facility. Work with Maintenance Manager and Facility Engineer to develop, update and support documentation for facility operations. Assist with various continuous improvement and cost-out initiatives which may include participation in Kaizen or Rapid Improvement Events. Identify and implement shop floor process improvements. Assist with various manufacturing, operations and EHS projects as assigned. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution with a major in engineering or operations-related field Minimum 3.0 GPA (please don't round) Relocation is not provided for this role. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY will be considered. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or previous internship experience. Position Criteria: Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Collaborative and team focused. Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
