Field Engineer Intern - Production Chemistry

Schlumberger Trinidad Inc is seeking candidates to fill the role of Field Engineer intern. The primary function of this role will be to support our diverse clientele to ensure efficient and effective phase separation of fluids whilst maintaining Flow Assurance. This role will require the intern to conduct testing of various process fluids, interpret the results, and make recommendations where required to ensure optimal performance of the products and equipment supplied and to maintain efficient process operation. This role requires the personnel to support both onshore operations. Oil tests, potable water, produced water discharge, lubricating oil, diesel fuel oil, and hydraulic fluid * Support Field Sampling of Fluids * Conduct Field and Laboratory Testing of Oil, Water, and Gas Samples * Prepare Technical Reports based on Analytical and Process Data * Provide routine and ad hoc service support to clients * Conduct repairs and maintenance to chemical metering and transfer systems * Product Inventory Management - Maintain Raw Material and Finished Product Inventory * Chemical Handling - Required to Dispense, Transfer, and Blend Chemicals * Working at Heights * Actively contribute to continuous improvement culture across the business Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Valid Driver's License Desirable Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering - Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Studies, Water and Wastewater, Chemical and Process Engineering, Industrial, Environmental, Petroleum etc. Exceptional Oral and Written communication skills will be an asset
