Finance Intern

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in core finance and accounting functions, providing support to the Finance department as needed. Finance Intern Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, including invoice review and data entry


• Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entry preparation


• Help maintain and update financial records, spreadsheets, and databases with accuracy


• Assist in preparing financial reports, budget summaries, and variance analyses for review


• Support the finance team with data collection, organization, and analysis to inform business decisions


• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and feedback


• Assist with expense reporting and reconciliation across departments


• Help research discrepancies and resolve billing or accounting issues, escalating as needed


• Support special projects such as process improvement initiatives or system implementations


• Perform other finance-related duties as assigned to support the overall functioning of the department

Finance Intern Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field


• Previous internship or work experience in finance/accounting is a plus but not required


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, basic modeling)


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving skills


• Eager to learn and take on new challenges


• Professional demeanor and positive attitude


• Adaptable and able to handle a variety of tasks
