Finance Intern - Financial Planning & Analysis

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and International Teams are responsible for planning, forecasting, sales reporting, and special projects supporting various cross-functional teams. We are seeking a motivated intern currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field to support reporting, analytics, and business optimization initiatives. This role will assist with analyzing sales performance data, developing reports and dashboards, identifying trends, and providing insights that support strategic business decisions and operational efficiency. The intern will gain hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams and contribute to data-driven business initiatives. This internship will run from May 2027 – August 2027. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

Main Objective:

To develop an understanding of Arthrex business operations, FP&A, and international business functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the review and analysis of business contracts to ensure system data, pricing, and terms are accurately aligned.


• Assist in validating customer pricing structures and resolving discrepancies between contract terms and system records.


• Collaborate with the U.S. Product Finance team on reporting and analytics projects, including the development of dashboards and Power BI reports.


• Collaborate with International Finance team to provide data and reporting in support of international pricing strategies.


• Gain exposure to the year-end planning and annual budgeting processes by supporting data collection, analysis, and reporting activities.


• Contribute to ad hoc financial analyses and special projects requested by business partners across the organization.

Education and Experience:

• Progress towards a college degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics required. A college sophomore or above required. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)


• Experience analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting or forecasting activities is a plus.


• Experience using Power BI to create dashboards, develop reports, and analyze business data is preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
