Forestry Intern

Abbeville Fiber is seeking a Forestry Intern for the Summer 2027 Internship Program.  Under the supervision of experienced Forestry professionals, the Forestry Intern will provide support to the Forestry department by working on a variety of Forestry projects to gain knowledge and experience in various aspects of the discipline.

Responsibilities may include:

• Work with procurement team to research and acquire timber to feed the sawmill


• Habitat management - hunting land management


• Timber Management


• Exposure to broader organization including finished product procurement, wood treatment process, and process engineering


• Completing any other assigned projects or tasks as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least a Sophomore and actively seeking a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Forestry or related field, and cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater


• Must have experience with Microsoft Products
