Welo Data is looking for current or former educators to help evaluate the visual design and accuracy of mobile mapping interfaces. We believe the pedagogical perspective is essential for creating digital tools that are intuitive and error-free.

The Mission

Aesthetic Audit: Review map layouts for "visual polish," readability, and logical flow.
Geospatial Logic: Analyze if framing and location recommendations make sense in a real-world context.
Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and tag specific UI issues like overlapping labels, masking errors, or scaling problems.
Critical Reporting: Provide clear, high-level feedback that helps improve the overall user experience.

Project Details

Job Type: Freelance / Independent Contract
Location: Remote (Must be based in the U.S.)
Device Focus: iPhone / iOS Mobile Experience
Capacity: High-volume workflow (up to 1,500 tasks per cycle).
Pay rate: $30.10/hour

Who We’re Looking For

Educational Background: Current or former educators with direct classroom experience.
Apple Expert: You are a regular iPhone/iOS user.
Map Savvy: Active Google Maps history and a current Gmail account.
Detail Oriented: You excel at following complex rubrics and spotting subtle safety or design issues.
Tech Criticality: You can articulate "why" a design works or fails from a user's perspective.
