Role Summary:
The goal of the Marketing Intern is to support the Marketing Team along with members of the community teams and business development team to meet Kiln’s growth expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, edit, and order a diverse range of print and digital design projects including brochures, posters, business cards, day pass cards, stickers, banners, and more.
Consistently design, edit, and post graphics to our social media that talk about the current events, clubs, and experiences occurring in our spaces.
Assist with the organization and management of Kiln’s digital assets on our Google Drive and Dropbox.
Assist with the growth of Kiln’s social media profiles including posting, re-sharing, and engaging/responding to followers.
Clean up marketing assets and digital footprint with guidance from Content Marketing Manager.
Assemble and manage the distribution of marketing content to the appropriate contacts.
Manage product orders for each location + business card creation.
Track spend on orders, marketing collateral, and events.
Coordinate outreach + partnership communications for each site.
Support events + logistics pertaining to each site.
Work brand activation events on behalf of Kiln.
Help execute on key marketing team responsibilities as we work to launch new locations.
Form relationships with market-specific individuals and brands for the benefit of Kiln and its community.
Some travel to our Kiln locations may be required (travel time is paid).
Experience and Requirements
Graphic Design experience is a must. Programs used include Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
Strong attention to detail is a must, especially when designing and placing print orders (brochures, posters, etc).
Ability to professionally receive feedback and implement changes in a timely manner as it pertains to graphic design projects.
Experience managing and posting to social media. (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
Customer service, sales, and/or lead generation experience a plus.
Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities and/or projects.
Driven and resourceful in finding new approaches to simplifying processes.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
Positive attitude, detailed and customer orientated.
Demonstrates integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.
