Graphic Design Internship Summer 2025

MeatEater is seeking a Graphic Design Intern for the MeatEater Brand. This position is a graphic resources and process coordination role that provides design and development input and support of the graphic apparel and accessories businesses, for current and new products for the MeatEater Brand. The Graphic Design Intern contributes to the overall illustrative graphics and visuals creation and procurement process and assists in the definition of the visual aesthetics of the brand. The Graphic Designer Intern brings a passion for the design creation process, a positive team player attitude, and enthusiasm for the consumer to add undeniable value to the visual identity of the MeatEater Brand. The Graphic Designer Intern is a problem solver and finds workable, creative solutions to the challenges faced in a rapidly changing marketplace.

This position is located in Bozeman, Montana

*The Summer Graphic Design Internship program is a 3-6 credits, 15-20 hours/week, internship that would support the Graphic Merchandising department needs for MeatEater, Inc. The candidate must be currently enrolled in university or receiving advanced education and must be eligible for college credit. Proof of enrollment is required prior to accepting this position. 

INTERNSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Researches markets, colors, trends, techniques, consumers, and retailer strategies to create seasonal color and vision concepts. 
• Assists in the coordination of textiles and color, graphics and prints, and materials and trims to enhance product design and development. 
• Prepares layouts, designs, artwork and formats for use in graphic and accessories collections. 
• Participates in fit and prototype review sessions.
• Organizes and archives graphics by season and category to build and maintain a design library. 
• Other duties as beneficial to MeatEater

• Hands on experience in a real design, development and merchandising product team environment.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop. 
• Currently enrolled in college/university, preferably media production school or similar study
• Location: Bozeman. Remote if applicable. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Proven ability to drive creative ideas and solutions. 
• Strong interest in graphic design and the power of design. 
• Interest in hunting, fishing, cooking and/or conservation.
