JOB SUMMARY:

The Graphic Production Assistant will work within the Design department and will be responsible for assisting in the production of large-format graphic stencils and vinyl decals, We are looking for an artistic, energetic individual who likes working with their hands and is willing to be a team player. Must be quality-conscious and work quickly under deadlines and assignments. This is a local position and the work is performed onsite at Praters, Inc. Rossville, GA location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Fulfill customer-based production orders in a timely and efficient manner 


• Stand and work over a waist-high table when preparing graphic orders


• Stand for long periods and the ability to lift 40+ pounds periodically


• Follow and understand quality guidelines, patent processes, and graphic layouts


• Ability to work independently with a self-motivated attitude


• capable of executing multiple projects simultaneously. 


• Load materials on/into printers and/or laminators, which may require some heavy lifting


• Troubleshoot problems as they arise by consulting the creative team and Management


• Package shipments and create order labels


• Execute jobs within tight schedules 


• Maintain a clean and safe working environment


• Willing to work overtime and some weekends


• Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes


• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school or college student
  


• Basic math and computer skills


• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 40+ pounds


• Strong attention to detail


• Have a good work ethic and be able to produce high-quality work


• Able to effectively and efficiently organize, and work well on a team but also have the independence to work individually
