Ace Handyman Services is hiring a motivated and dependable Handyman Intern to join our professional team. Whether you're exploring a new career path or starting fresh in the trades, this internship provides valuable real-world experience across a variety of home repair and improvement services.

What You’ll Learn

As an intern, you’ll:

Work alongside multiple experienced craftsmen with diverse specialties

Learn hands-on skills in carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, light electrical, hardware installation, and more

Gain exposure to different work styles, tools, and problem-solving methods

Participate in customer service and on-site job communication

This is an immersive and supportive learning environment designed to give you practical trade skills you can build a career on.

Tools & Equipment

Interns are encouraged to bring basic hand tools (e.g., hammer, tape measure, screwdriver set, utility knife, etc.) if they have them. If not, tools will be shared with mentor technicians or borrowed from our limited office inventory. A basic tool kit may be provided or required depending on performance and internship length.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

Of high integrity, trustworthy, and respectful

Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work

Willing to work hard indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions

Physically able to lift tools and materials

Interested in developing trade skills

Holds a valid driver’s license and has a clean driving record

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

The 800+ Craftsmen who represent our Brand are the heart and soul of our turn-key, white-glove home repair, maintenance, and improvement service. They are skilled and experienced in many trades, but their professionalism and attention to detail is what sets them apart from others who work in the industry.

Most of the projects completed are for Repeat and Referral Customers—folks truly appreciate our high level of service, and they often request additional work by asking for particular Craftsmen by name.
