GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is a summer internship that offers exposure to pediatric healthcare operations, patient services, and administrative functions. Internships will run from June 1 to July 31, 2026.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support special projects (research, data entry, communications).
- Shadow healthcare professionals to understand pediatric care delivery.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and families.
- Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Current college student, recent graduate, or high school senior 18+.
- Interest in healthcare, pediatrics, or related fields.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office/Google Workspace).
- Successful background check and 3 professional references.

- Strong verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, patient-focused, and professional demeanor.
- Quick learner with the ability to follow procedures and adapt to new systems.
- Basic computer skills; EHR experience a plus.
