The Club at Mediterra is a premier, member-owned, residential club located in southwest Florida. Requirements

  The Person We Are Looking For:

The internship position requires a highly motivated individual with exceptional communication skills, superior internal and external customer service relationships, and the ability to work in a high-performance Team setting.

The candidate must be enrolled in a Hospitality degree-seeking program with the ability to identify areas of opportunities and propose solutions with minimal guidance.

• Free housing: A non-refundable security deposit, taken in bi-weekly deductions, is required. 

30-60-90 Day Internship Program: 

The successful candidate will participate in a rotational program learning from the Leadership Team. 

• Exposure to every aspect of the Food & Beverage department, which includes serving, bartending, etc. 
• Handle dining/event reservations using Mediterra standards. 
• Work with multiple departments to learn one-on-one with the Leadership Team.
• Event setup: Prepare back and front-of-house areas for service. 
• Cross-department training: Attend leadership/department meetings, Lunch 'N Learns, and one-on-one director sessions (Finance, Human Resources, Marketing & Membership).
• Project Management: Create and execute an event from start to finish.
• Additional leadership training: Leadership book review, local club tours, networking, and partnering with industry professionals.
