Job Summary

This 8-12 week summer internship provides a valuable opportunity to learn about the housekeeping operations within a large property. As a Housekeeping Intern, you will collaborate closely with the housekeeping team to acquire essential skills, including effective cleaning techniques, room inspection protocols, and delivering exceptional guest service. You will gain an understanding of how to uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to shadow and learn from other departments within the hotel. This internship offers a well-rounded perspective on the vital role housekeeping plays in enhancing the overall guest experience and the smooth operation of the hotel.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred but not required).
• A keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Physical ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
