ETRO is a fashion house that has defined Italian style around the world since 1968. From research into textiles and attention to detail, ETRO creates luxury clothing and accessories for men and women, where passion for travel and sartorial tradition are the key concepts of every collection.

SCOPE   

The Human Resources Intern will gain exposure to a wide range of HR functions by supporting the administration needs of the department and participating in the execution of projects that contribute to the overall short and long-term goals of the department and Company. The Human Resources Intern will learn about the role of HR in the organization and have additional opportunities to interact with other departments, resulting as an enriching overview of the inner workings of the US Head Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support a variety of ad-hoc HR-related tasks and projects
  • Learn the functionality of Etro’s HRIS platform, Paylocity, and complete activities therein
  • Organize HR server and employee files, focusing on streamlining, standardization and consistency
  • Conduct audits such as store and Head Office labor law posters and company-issued electronic devices; document and report findings
  • Support the development and posting of job descriptions for open roles; participate in review candidate applications
  • Assist the development of performance evaluation processes and standards
  • Draft communications to Company employees announcing new hires and promotions and other HR-related messaging

Requirements

SPECIFIC SKILLS

  • Take an organized approach to work
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Work independently and ask for help when needed
  • Employ strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess a working understanding and capability with Microsoft      Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

The pay for this position is $18.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
