HR Intern, Summer 2026 (HQ)

Job Description:

POLITICO is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to support the HR team with a focus on Workday administration, data management and reporting. This internship offers hands‑on experience in HR systems, analytics and day‑to‑day operational support within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Who You Are:

·      You’re a rising junior or senior currently enrolled in an accredited university

·      You’re interested in Human Resources, HR Operations, HRIS, or People Analytics

What You’ll Do:

·      Provide administrative support within Workday, including data entry, updates, and system maintenance

·      Assist with HR data management and audits

·      Partner with HR team members on ad hoc projects as needed

What You’ll Need:

·      Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data, reports, and systems

·      Technically curious with the ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms (prior exposure to Workday or similar systems is a plus, but not required)

·      Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

·      Strong organizational, communication and problem‑solving skills
