Job Description - HR Intern (Unpaid)

Position Overview


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our HR team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to core HR functions and is ideal for students or recent graduates pursuing a career in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.



This is an unpaid internship, but academic credit may be available depending on program requirements.

Key Responsibilities



  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding documentation

  • Support personnel file organization and record-keeping

  • Help maintain HR systems (e.g., BambooHR or similar platforms)

  • Assist with recruitment tasks such as posting positions and scheduling interviews

  • Support compliance-related tasks and internal audits

  • Help draft internal communications and HR documents

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team



Learning Opportunities



  • Exposure to HR operations, compliance, and employee relations

  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms

  • Professional mentorship and real-world HR experience

Qualifications



  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
