Position Summary:
We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team for Summer 2025. This internship offers hands-on experience across multiple HR areas while contributing to agency-wide initiatives that strengthen our people, programs, and culture. 

Key Responsibilities: 

The intern will assist with several priority projects, including: 

  • SOP Development: Help gather, document, and format HR Standard Operating Procedures. 
  • Onboarding: Support onboarding specialist with onboarding new staff and identifying process improvements  
  • Recruitment: Assist with market research and creative sourcing strategies. 
  • Employee File Audits: Support compliance audits and document updates for agency programs. 
  • Other duties as assigned: Support the HR team and agency initiatives. 

 What You’ll Gain:

Duration & Hours:

Summer 2025 - Monday to Friday up to 35 hours a week.

Requirements

 Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proof of HS diploma or GED required.  
  • Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality 
  • Interest in nonprofit HR operations and organizational development
