Position Title: Human Resources Intern
Location: Addison, TX (On-Site)
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Director

Position Summary:

Thrust Flight is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Intern to support the Human Resources team with day-to-day administrative tasks and coordination activities. This internship provides hands-on experience in various HR functions and the opportunity to contribute to the success of a dynamic flight training organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage employee uniform inventory and distribution
   
• Assist with pre-employment processes, including background checks and preparation of orientation packets
   
• Support onboarding of new Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs), including creation of folders, name tags, shirt distribution, system logins, and ID photos
   
• Help prepare payroll-related items such as birthday/anniversary bonuses, Employee of the Month recognition, and flight instructor bonuses
   
• Track and reconcile company credit card expenses
   
• Act as the building liaison for facilities-related matters
   
• Monitor and order office supplies as needed
   
• Conduct regular mail runs and ensure timely distribution
   
• Perform other administrative or HR-related duties as assigned
   

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills  
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)  
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
