Job Description - Human Resources Intern

Human Resources Internship (September 2, 2025 – February 13, 2026)

Location: Chantilly, VA

Job type: Internship (Part-time - 20 to 30 hours a week)

The 2025-2026 Fall/Winter Internship begins Tuesday, September 2, 2025 and ends on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Responsibilities:

The intern will perform general Human Resource tasks and research HR matters as requested

Rigil Training and LMS platform implementation/management

Assist with benefits administration, wellness program, and employee relations

Assist with recruitment, sourcing, and formatting resumes

HR Analysis

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team

Prepare and develop documents in MS Office, presentations with PowerPoint, and spreadsheets with Excel

Handle confidential HR related information

Data entry and Research

Other special projects as requested

Skills needed:

Pursing Bachelors or Masters degree in related discipline or 1 year demonstrated experience in school work, internships, or jobs

Prior experience in Human Resources is required

General HR knowledge and coursework experience

Familiar with database systems and common HR applications

Experience with MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and Teams

Solid organization skills and attention to detail

Written and Verbal Communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage time wisely
