Job Description - Human Resources Summer Intern

Description

  • Help research HR laws, regulations, and industry standards to support policy updates or ensure compliance.
  • Assist with general HR administrative tasks and projects as required.
  • Update and organize our employee handbook.
  • Help ensure all health and safety documentation is up to date.
  • Organize/build HR team SharePoint
  • Scan contracts into Salesforce as needed (to ensure older book licensing agreements are already filed in Salesforce.)

Requirements

  • Up to 10 hours per week.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be enrolled in a post-secondary program.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and computer skills.
  • An interest in the field of human resources. 
  • $20 per hour.
