HVAC Commercial Service Summer Intern

Description

As a HVAC Commercial Service Summer Intern for Piedmont Service Group, you will work under a seasoned HVAC Technician to learn the service, repair, and installation of all Commercial HVAC equipment encountered on PSG customer sites.  (Hydronic, Steam, Chilled Water, DX, Forced Air, Heat Pump, VAV, Constant Volume, Exhaust, and Heat Recovery)

Duties include but are not limited to:

· Maintaining  tools, supplies and equipment

· Performing preventive maintenance on equipment under the direction of a PSG Technician

· Following all safety requirements and use appropriate PPE

· Following written project installation plans when working on projects

· Keeping appropriate records of work hours

· Flexibility to work extended shifts (e.g. early mornings and late nights)

Requirements

· Valid NC drivers' license or other reliable mode of transportation

· must be able to pass a background and drug screen

· Excellent customer service skills

· Strong communication and documentation skills

· Must have reliable transportation
