This job classification is open to students enrolled in the CBC Nuclear Technology Program, Instrumentation & Control.
GENERAL SUMMARY
Energy Northwest has an interest in periodically employing college students who are studying radiation safety, nuclear technology, or other similar technical fields in order to assist the student in completing their training/education and to benefit from the duties they can be qualified to perform at Energy Northwest.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Job duties include:
1. Gather parts, M&TE and tools
2. Setting up Surveillance carts and associated test equipment
3. Performance of bench calibrations on replacement parts
4. Work document verification and closure
5. Support documentation/procedure revision verification 6. Participation in I/C and error prevention training
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
The job classification will only be available to students enrolled and active in either the EITC or CBC Nuclear Technology programs.
Salary:
$34.50 per hour
Temporary employees may be required to participate in the Washington State Pension Plan (PERS) and may also be eligible to enroll in medical insurance if the duration and hours worked requirements are met. Temporary employees accrue paid time off that is available to use after 90 days of employment.
