Inclusive Networking Corp. Quality/NIR Lab

Land O'Lakes is hiring a part-time Intern to work in corporate quality at our Arden Hills, MN Corporate Headquarters

JOB DUTIES:

• Helping with NIR lab cleanliness

  • General dusting

  • Wiping counters

  • Organizing

  • Periodic deeper cleaning of specific items (downdraft table, water bath, grinding enclosures)

• Picking up packages from the mailroom

  • Collect cart full of packages from the upstairs mailroom

  • Occasionally pick up a box from the mail room in building A

​

• Drop packages off at building A mail room to be sent out

​

• Running oilmeal samples

  • Pouring sample into sample dish, flattening sample surface, then placing on instrument

  • Direct instrument to begin analysis, and then scan the barcoded sticker

​

• Assistance with splitting/running MBS/NWK sets of samples

  • Sets of 10 samples (sometimes more) are split through a sample riffler and re-bagged so that we have duplicate samples

  • These samples are then analyzed on our NIR instruments, which is a task that is more efficient with 2 people

​

• Assist with co-labs, when needed

  • Grinding and portioning samples into bags/vials

  • Labeling vials and boxing samples

​

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Active with Inclusive Networking Program

• Must be 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES & OTHER SKILLS:

• Attention to detail

• Task Oriented

• Good communication skills

• Basic computer skills

• Comfortable standing and walking around during shift hours

Hourly rate of pay: 15.00
