JOB TITLE: Intern (Paid Temporary Role)

Wineshipping is a tech-enabled third-party logistics (3PL) provider for alcoholic beverage companies, managing the fastest, most accurate, and most cost-efficient delivery network in the United States. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Intern will support day-to-day administrative and clerical functions in the office and may provide support for specific projects. This individual will assist various departments with tasks such as data entry, document management, scheduling, internal communications, and project coordination. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional office environment and learn the operational side of a growing logistics company.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform data entry and maintain accurate records

· Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing documents

· Support team members with administrative tasks and special projects

· Attend meetings and take notes as requested

· Help prepare materials for internal communications or presentations

· Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures

· Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor, we like to keep it interesting.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

· High school diploma or equivalent required; currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a college or university preferred

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

· Able to work independently and in a team environment

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting

· Occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 50lbs 

· Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity

· Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.

· Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts 

· Occasional loud noise 

· Occasional varying environmental temperature changes
