Position Overview

The Compliance Department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Intern to support the Department with day-to-day compliance responsibilities.  The Internship will provide the intern with practical experience in healthcare compliance work, including work related to the Anti-Kickback Statute and various compliance monitoring initiatives.  The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional and interested in healthcare law, regulatory compliance, public policy and software development.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Anti-Kickback Statute compliance related activities

• Tracking, reviewing and organizing supporting documentation


• Supporting analysis of engagements and documentation


• Supporting general compliance monitoring


• Assisting with periodic compliance audits and monitoring activities


• Maintaining compliance trackers, dashboards and documentation


• Helping prepare summaries, reports and presentations


• Conducting research related to healthcare regulations under the guidance of Compliance staff


• Providing administrative and organizational support to the Compliance Department as needed

Required Skills

• Ideal candidate should be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate Range - $20 - $22 USD.
