Intern - DC Systems Controls

Collaborate with the research team in technology development and demonstration. Develop innovative control and protection methods for DC systems. Support implementing state-of-the-art concepts and solutions into quick prototypes, feasibility studies, specifications, and eventually into larger systems and product components. Investigate, integrate, and validate new product designs abiding by time-based milestones. Actively enrolled in a Master's or PhD degree program in Electrical engineering or related field from an accredited institution. Experience in mathematical modeling of dynamical systems. Familiarity with analysis, control, and protection of power systems. Experience in mathematical modeling of power systems, including control and protection mechanisms. Experience in dynamical systems stability analysis. Experience in DC systems modeling. Experience using Python for power systems modeling. Position Criteria Collaborative orientation. The ability to succeed in a highly team-oriented environment. Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in dealing with management, employees, customers, and suppliers.
