Intern - Deposit Operations (Part of Bank Operations) (Summer 2026)

The hourly wage minimum = $17; maximum = $19. The exact pay may vary based on skills, experience, training, licenses/certifications, language necessities, and location. Dime does not provide visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities for the Deposit Operations (Part of Bank Operations) Intern include:

• Reactivating Dormant/Inactive accounts with appropriate documentation and notifying supervisor of any suspicious activity occurring on sensitive accounts.


• Assisting in performing annual escheatment process for abandoned property.


• Assisting branches and departments with questions and issues; process and respond to Deposit Operations Help Desk items.

Qualifications:

• Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an accredited University/College pursuing degree(s) in Business or Finance.


• Motivated. Curious. Eager to learn. Inquisitive. Proactive contributor.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Strong organization and time management skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


• Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, in Hauppauge, Long Island.
