Job Description - Intern - Environmental Engineering

To be considered you must meet the following requirements:

Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering:
GPA of 3.0 or higher (copy of most recent transcript required)
Available to work a 32-hour work week for 13 weeks between May and August (Jacksonville, FL)

JEA is seeking Environmental Engineer students for our paid 2027 Summer Internship Program. Students selected to participate in our Internship Program will have an opportunity to gain real world, on-the-job experience, and network with business professionals to develop valuable leadership, professional etiquette and presentation skills.

An Environmental Engineering intern at JEA you can expect meaningful, applied experience that blends engineering, compliance, sustainability, and fieldwork within a real public‑utility environment.
