Job Description - Intern - Human Resources

Internship Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship is a great opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources, gaining hands-on experience in both operational and strategic HR functions. You’ll work closely with our HR team to improve internal processes and help drive a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

HR Documentation Support:

  • Assist in drafting, formatting, and organizing basic HR documents such as onboarding forms, policy templates, internal memos, and checklists.
  • Help maintain consistency and compliance in internal documentation.

HR Dashboard Development:

  • Support the creation of an internal HR dashboard to visualize key metrics (e.g., employee headcount, diversity, turnover rates, etc.).
  • Assist with data collection, basic analysis, and preparing visual reports using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or HRIS systems.

Employee Program Assistance:

  • Help design and implement new HR initiatives and programs focused on employee engagement, wellness, development, or recognition.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and provide recommendations tailored to our culture and team structure.

Administrative Support:

  • Organize and update employee records and assist with scheduling or meeting coordination as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings, take notes, and provide follow-up documentation or action items.

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, charts, and basic data visualization.
  • Interest in HR analytics, systems, and people-centric program design.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, Google Workspace, Excel, or basic HR software.
  • Exposure to dashboard platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Notion) is a plus but not required.
  • Prior internship or project experience in HR, administrative work, or organizational development is a bonus.
