We’re hiring a Intern: Interior Design/Furniture at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. 

As an intern you will assist the design team with resolving design/construction issues and selecting materials, furnishings, and decor. This collaborative role ensures interior environments are aesthetic, functional, reliable, and safe, complying with building codes and health requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze and help to solve design and construction problems in a collaborative manner


• Partner with design team to select materials, furnishings and decor


• Collaborate with design team to ensure interior building environments are aesthetically pleasing, functional, reliable and safe – a working knowledge of building codes and health requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent, required

  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
  
  
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion
