Intern, Marketing and Communications

Summary: Do you want to be part of a non-profit organization that makes a difference in your community?  Now is your opportunity! The Marketing and Communications Intern will help to drive brand awareness, extend United Way Suncoast’s reach, and strengthen our message to the community.

Objectives:

· Enhance and maintain the organization’s website presence. 

· Identify and update outdated website content. 

· Communicate website needs and support the implementation of requested changes.

· Create clear, authoritative written content that reflects the growing importance of artificial intelligence.

· Improve and enhance our YouTube channel content.

· Contribute ideas and innovation to all that the Marketing/Communications department does to advance the United Way Suncoast mission.

Learning Opportunities:

· Insight into the rapidly evolving world of nonprofit communications

· Practical experience on the importance of the PESO (Paid, Earned, Shard, Owned) Model

· Insight into the intricate relationship between brand strength and awareness and diversified revenue streams

Qualifications:

· Junior or Senior in college working toward a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations

· At least a 2.75 GPA

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
