Intern - Process Safety Engineer

Participate in PSM projects and program initiatives. Attend Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) sessions for selected systems. Support collection and organization of Process Safety Information (PSI). Engage with process safety engineers to track and close PHA action items. Assist engineering teams with process safety audits and safety calculations for new equipment. Present a summary of internship work to senior staff. Basic understanding of schematic drawings, P&IDs, or similar technical renderings. Basic background in process safety engineering calculations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Access to reliable transportation. Pursuing a BS, MS, or advanced degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Environmental Engineering, or related field with a focus on process safety. Must be a current student and not graduate before September 2026. Experience with Power BI or Power Automate. Integrity, positivity, and desire to learn. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑team environment as well as independently. Ability to complete work within established timelines.
