Position Summary

Guggenheim Investments is seeking a Real Estate Intern. The role will focus on Commercial Mortgage Loans, Credit Tenant Leases, and Equity Transactions. This position is collaborative and will involve regular interaction with front office portfolio managers, operations, accounting, transaction sponsors, and third-party servicers. The employee will report to the senior Real Estate Portfolio Manager, and will work in the firm’s New York City Office.

Responsibilities

 

• Research special projects as tasked and defined by senior real estate investment professionals
• Deal sourcing systems and lead tracking
• Market research and property analysis
• Comparative market data review
• Rental performance metrics
• Transaction coordination processes
• Observing renovation planning and budgeting processes

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a student at an accredited university
• Interest in real estate investment or brokerage operations
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage tasks independently
• Comfortable working in both office and field settings
• No prior real estate experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Real Estate interest, exposure, or experience
• Strong excel skills
