Job Description - Intern Strategy & Expansion (m/f/d)

As Intern Strategy & Expansion, you will play a key role in supporting and shaping the company's strategic priorities. From day one on, you will take on analytical and operational tasks and gain valuable experience being part of the Strategy & Expansion team, that reports directly to the CEO. Working alongside a highly skilled, dynamic, and diverse team, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop quickly, with plenty of room for growth and a steep learning curve. This position is limited to 4-6 months and is located in Munich. The ideal start date would be July or August 2025.

work on strategic and highly relevant topics, such as expansion planning & execution, positioning and operational improvement
identify and own information sources, gather and interpret data, and execute analyses to translate into meaningful insights for the Strategy Department
conduct in-depth research on topics related to Westwing's strategic priorities, such as market trends, competitor analyses, or industry best practices
collect and analyze data to help the department make informed decisions, which may involve working with large data sets, creating spreadsheets or charts, and identifying trends or patterns
conduct stakeholder interviews and provide administrative assistance as needed
support ongoing strategic projects and strategy processes by creating high-quality presentations for senior management

studies in Business Administration, Management, Economics or a comparable course of study
initial practical experience in relevant areas such as Strategy Consulting or Business Development
excellent analytical skills and strength in prioritization
independent, responsible, and structured approach to work, with a goal-oriented mindset
friendly, communicative, discrete, and motivated personality
very strong MS Office skills - particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
excellent written and spoken language skills in both German and English
