The team partners closely with Firmware and Product Test groups to ensure our SSD products are validated with efficiency, clarity, and technical rigor.\n\nIn this role, the Validation Strategy AI/ML Intern supports strategy development by exploring AI/ML approaches that enhance validation productivity. The intern contributes analysis, documentation, and proof\u2011of\u2011concept work that helps translate strategy into clear execution plans for partner teams.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Prototype and evaluate AI/ML methods that improve validation productivity, including triage acceleration, reporting automation, and workflow efficiency.\n * Gather stakeholder requirements and help define inputs, outputs, success criteria, and measurable impact for AI/ML initiatives.\n * Support documentation that clarifies ownership and handoffs between strategy and execution teams.\n * Build small proof\u2011of\u2011concepts and analyses using engineering artifacts such as logs, metrics, and structured data, and summarize findings for weekly or periodic updates.\n * Collaborate with cross\u2011functional teams and maintain clear documentation of assumptions, results, and recommendations.\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n * Currently pursuing a Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.\n * Solid programming skills in Python and experience with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and scikit\u2011learn.\n * Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, algorithms, model training, and evaluation techniques.\n * Robust analytical and problem\u2011solving skills grounded in mathematics and statistics.\n * Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and advanced data analysis libraries.\n * Prior hands\u2011on projects or coursework in machine learning, data science, or artificial intelligence.\n * Familiarity with embedded systems, firmware, or hardware testing processes.\n * Exposure to software development tools and practices such as Git and agile methodologies.\n\n\n\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
