Job Description - Intern - Year-round - Training and Development/Human Resources Intern

Lieberman is hiring a Training and Development/Human Resources Intern.



  •  THIS IS A YEAR-ROUND INTERNSHIP - NOT ONLY FOR THE SUMMER

  • This is a hybrid role: Monday - Thursday on-site and Fridays remote.

  • This is a paid internship:  $20 per hour


 


 Lieberman currently has an exciting opportunity for an Intern to join us approximately 30 hours per week, M-F from during the hours of 9 - 5.


 


Position Description:


The Training and Development/Human Resources Intern is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of the Training and Development and HR Administration functions.


 


Key Responsibilities - include, but are not limited to:



Training Administration



  • Organize and prepare materials and resources for training classes

  • Enter data into a training and development tracking system

  • Maintain training records and compile reports on training programs

  • Schedule and register staff for training classes

  • Create and maintain a master schedule for training classes/presentations and track roster of participants

  • Provide assistance for other related duties, as assigned


 


HR Administration



  • Assist with recruiting activities including tracking candidates, organizing resumes, scheduling interviews, ensuring follow-up communications, etc.  

  • Maintain and update candidate database

  • Ensure candidate assessments are promptly graded

  • Draft offer letters and preemployment communications and send to new hires

  • Ensure candidates complete onboarding tasks as assigned

  • Maintain onboarding / new hire documents and communications and send to new hires for completion

  • Order computer equipment for new hires and verify that equipment is delivered timely

  • Manage benefit enrollment materials and distribute to new hires in advance of eligibility date

  • Complete other general administrative duties for HR/Payroll


 


Education and Experience:



  • MA/MS/BA/BS in related field

  • Excellent MS Office skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SPSS
