Description:

• Collaboration and Learning Lead
  
  
  
  • lead collaborations between agencies, outside service providers, family advocates, bilingual assessors, etc.
  
  
  • Collaborate with BID to plan, schedule, and deliver PD or one-on-one coaching for BIIs, sped assistants, teachers, or all staff
  
  
  • Collaborate with IEEs
  
  
  • Connect with COP and LAUSD reps for alt placement process
  
  
  • Lead PD
  
  
  • Lead school tours with families seeking more info on sped program and a review of their student's IEP
  
  
  • Assigning internal or external assessors for evaluations and overseeing the timeline for all IEPs
  
  
  • Coach and guide other sped teachers/case managers through IEP process or concerns
  
  
  • Facilitate sped weekly meetings with admin team
  
  
  
  


• Compliance 
  
  
  
  • Review Welligent reports (Master Calendar, 300, etc.) and share with necessary staff
  
  
  • Review and update CALPADS
  
  
  • Oversee sped program and services in collaboration with the principal
  
  
  • Review purchase orders and give principal feedback on whether or not to approve
  
  
  • Upload accommodations for state testing
